The daring duo is now facing charges for their scam that resulted in the theft of over $350,000 from the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s Grand River Casino in South Dakota.

Believing the text to be from their boss, the cage manager withdrew $352,000 and set out for Aberdeen. However, they were then instructed to meet Miranda at a gas station in Mitchell and hand over the funds in person.

The casino employee complied with the demands, turning over the stolen money to Miranda. The elaborate plan came crashing down when authorities caught wind of the theft and arrested the suspects.
