The recent attack at Red Rock Resort highlighted the ongoing need for improved security at casino resorts. Despite the quick response of a casino security officer who apprehended the attacker, it was evident that more needed to be done to prevent such incidents.
Enter Jonathan Alvarez, the CEO of Protective Force International. Alvarez’s company has inked contracts with 18 casinos in Las Vegas and has deployed additional security personnel to bolster existing security forces.
While the names of the properties where Protective Force International is now operating cannot be disclosed for safety reasons, it is evident that local security teams have been reinforced. Alvarez pointed out that smaller casinos often struggle to maintain adequate security staffing levels, particularly during critical moments.
With the assistance of Protective Force International, these casinos are now able to bridge the gaps in their security measures. The company prides itself on hiring a diverse array of professionals, including former military personnel and retired police officers, to provide the necessary expertise and training.
